Sometimes, in life, you may need someone who advocates for you by being the intermediary in negotiations that include legal, financial, medical and leasing settlements, as well as tax audits.
We are a unique company and we can help.
Trying to negotiate an outcome while being completely overwhelmed, you cannot rationally resolve the issue. We will be the advocate to negotiate for you. We will understand the situation while bringing a resolve for you. You need someone who:
Investments, legal arrangements, lawsuits, financial fraud, malpractice, insurance coverage claims, supply chain disruptions, contract misrepresentations and tax representation are many of the areas we have worked in. We have acted as an intermediary many times and the outcomes have been outstanding.
When you are in a lawsuit, you need an advocate to tell you when the attorney may not be taking your case seriously or may be overwhelmed with other cases. Perhaps the attorney is not negotiating timely and will need to be called out on it. If communication does not improve, we may recommend a change in counsel.
We are experienced. We are a think tank company, where we utilize our many years of experience, wisdom and a large network of business and legal friends to accomplish our clients’ goals for a recovery.
We will only take on an engagement if we believe we can obtain a favorable outcome for our client.
An elderly woman was referred to us from her estate attorney. She had invested over $1 million with a very large national stock brokerage company and lost her entire investment. The broker at the company convinced her to invest away from the brokerage account into a partnership with a real estate developer. None of the money was ever invested in the real estate offered. We recovered the entire investment over a one-year period with the former broker, the real estate developer and through a settled arbitration with the stock brokerage company.
A real estate owner leased a property in Chicago. Because of a change in law, the tenant decided to walk away from the lease obligation, leaving the owner in financial distress. Through a national law firm relationship, we were able to bring about a cash settlement of over $120,000 including all expenses of the settlement.
A retired business woman was contacted by a bounty hunter advising her she had stock in an insurance company that had lost her address. He requested she pay him 40% of the recovery, an exorbitant price! Although we were skeptical of the contact, further research through the IRS proved she did have dividends that she was being taxed on but had not received. We had to reestablish her closed corporation (as the stock was in the corporation’s name), updated the minutes and re-opened a new bank account. We were able to recover over $400,000 for her.
A business owner was involved in a class action lawsuit in California. The owner had a $1 million dollar insurance policy for such an event, but after the lawsuit was filed, the insurance company failed to provide coverage. We reviewed the insurance policy, disagreed with the insurance companies’ position and brought a lawsuit through our attorney network. Not only did we recover the $1 million dollars in coverage, but obtained a settlement of an additional $1 million dollars in damages.
A retired business man owned a business with a minority partner. After our investigation, we recognized that the minority partner had been paid off years ago, but somehow remained a partner in the business receiving large annual profit distributions. We contacted the minority partner through his accountant and attorney and were able to settle for a great financial outcome for the business owner.
A group of investors invested in a high-rise apartment complex that was never built. After performing a forensic audit of the partnership, we found accounting and tax irregularities and a misappropriation of funds by the investment principals. We brought about a lawsuit and were able to recover. In addition, we acted as an expert witness and sat at the plaintiff’s table during the trial to obtain a recovery and judgment.
